Mika Härkönen (M), D.Sc. (Tech.), Professor of Practice, Industrial Chemistry and Technology Infrastructures at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. He is an experienced professional in chemical process technologies from industrial and applied R&D perspectives. The main technical expertise areas are polymer technology, piloting and scale-up, chemical engineering, and technology IPR. He has worked at VTT for 15 years in management and expert positions in process chemistry, piloting, and research infrastructure development, and about 15 years in product and process development in the petrochemical industry (Borealis, Neste). He has 16 peer reviewed publications and 20 patents. Project leader.

Anja Oasmaa

Anja Oasmaa (F), PhD, Lic.Sc. (Tech.), is Senior Principal Scientist at VTT. She has over 35 years expertise in thermal conversion processes, especially in pyrolysis and has a wide global network. She has developed analytical methods, norms, and standards for bio-oils. She is actively involved in circular economy work at VTT, especially applying pyrolysis technology for plastics. Anja has over 70 peer reviewed publications in international journals and books, H-index of 41, over 6,300 citations. Anja has several patents and invention disclosures. WP5 leader, project manager.
